how to avoid diabetes wikihow

What is one supposed to do if the taste vegetables make them want vomit? Seriously, most people think I’m making it up but I believe there’s something wrong with my taste buds, My mother and I are both type 2 and she has to take insulin and I’m having to take Victoza because my A1C ballooned up to 12. We both have injectable pens and since she has been doing this longer than I have, she is showing me how to do the injections and to get the tiniest needles possible. It’s working and I HATE needles with a passion, Type II, and injecting for many years, still there’s a moment of apprehension just before. Doubt it will ever go away either. Its not normal for us to stick ourselves. That said, its nothing to be concerned about. Current needle technology has come a long way。
I was terrified of injecting myself. With shaking hands I picked up my pen, pulled up some skin stuck the needle in and wound up pulling it out and putting it back in because I couldn’t feel anything. The nurse assisting me told me I had put the needle in twice! It hardly ever hurts and when, occaissionally, it has it only hurt a little and Until you can see your dr (hopefully an endocrinologist) cut way back on carbs, preferably cut out processed carbs (bread, crackers/cookies, chips, candy, sodas, etc) try to drink more water and move more – even waling around the house every hour or every commercial is helpful. Do NOT ignore this. Do all that y ou can until the dr can get you on whatever you need, mmol is equal to USA 300. That is VERY high. USA should be between 70-110 fasting (that’s 3.8-5.5 mmol). Your doctor should give you a range where he/she expects your numbers to be, both fasting and after meals. He/she should also have a treatment plan (meds, diet, exercise) in place for you. The high blood sugars can be making you feel unwell and can also be causing the blurry vision,  Non-diabetic range is 4.0-5.9 by newest scale 5.2 on old scale. This gives you a reference of how high you are. As a diabetic there is no reason to be above 5.2. I know that will raise flak but it’s true new standards are not set different because of a condition. So time to seek emergency care first and then insulin second. If you’re that high it’s diet and lack of insulin in the body. Type 2 meds , guessing, are not going to be much help。
I was at 32 and went to a walk in doctor… he told me to up my long lasting insulin from 10-12 units every other day and that I should be fine. I didn’t feel fine. I went to the hospital right after and they didn’t even make me wait in the waiting room they took me right back. Did blood work and immediately gave me fast acting insulin. Go to emerg asap,  If you are Canadian you can call Tele Health at any time and they will give you great info over the phone. Ketoacidosis is no fun. I spent a week in intensive care with a blood sugar of 48 and it sounds like you might be heading that way, Get a new doctor defiantly. My now 3 year old was diagnosed with type 1 February last year. Her reading was 29.1 and on diagnoses was DKA which is short for diabetic ketoacidosis which is very scary for anyone. I’d definatly. Go to the hospital. The dr we were seeing prior to being diagnosed sent us away and said she was dehydrated and give her hydra lite how ever I went straight to the hospital and was in there for a week. The hospital will start you on medication and also Get a dibabetes educator and a nutritionist to come see you. Before they let you go. Good luck and I hope you get it under control fast。
In most of Canada we do not have endocrinologist are diabetes is treated by the Gp. But that Dr sounds ludicrous I was sent to the Er when first diagnosed as my sugars were 29. Get your but to the Er to get your sugar down than follow up with a new Dr and diabetes education. The longer you wait to get under control the more damage your doing. Even waiting until the morning to see the Dr can cause you to go into a bad state, I would say go to the hospital STAT !!!!!! It’s very serious . I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes five months ago and I’m on medication for my diabetes , Also you need to see an endocrinologist and a dietitian to help you out w your diabetes, Go to the ER. If nothing else the hospital will help get you down with immediate treatment and with a fast referral to an endocronologist. You need that. If you don’t do that then go camp on the doctor’s door step on Monday morning. Here’s the potential complication of sugar that high, especially if your breath and/or pee smells fruity: death. Is that meant to scare you? Yes. It’s real and has to be faced. Get immediate treatment if not for yourself then for the people who love and like you, You need to see a Diabetic Doctor that understands and can explain everything to you. You could get in to a Diabetic Coma . Your Diet has to be adjusted to your needs . This is very important that you see a Specialist for Diet。
SEE YOUR DOCTOR.Get a referral to an education Centre or nurse specialist. You need mess probably. Have u tried the Canadian Diabetes Web site, Get to 1. A nutritionist who knows diabetes. 2. Call your doc immediately. 3. See an optometrist fast 4. Cut sugar from your diet until you can get to the nutritionist. 5. Join a support group. And good luck! It really is manageable, Very high almost at the top limits. I’m not trying to scare you friend of mine went into Diabetic coma and his reading was, Hi to all I try to check my blood sugar 135mg/dl.how to compute higher or lower my diabetes God bless All, This was me.
