how to cure diabetes

Have been on Metformin for almost 4 years, have been nauseous every day since, doesn’t matter what I eat or drink it bounces.
Thank goodness for Gaviscon. I’d be lost without it, best choice it to avoid food that spike blood sugar in the first instance and that is all starches but do the people listen nooooo just cary on eating crap and pop more pills why don’t you, so sick of this,  I was on metformin 11 years ago when I was first diagnosed with type 2. It upset my stomach so much. Was taken off it about 18 months ago, started taking it again 2000mg a day, and i feel so I’ll since starting back on it.
Better alternative to Metaformin in Glycox 500. Better quality and no side effects. Metaformin depletes your B12 and leads one to neuropath problems later in life. Doctors do not observe this until things are too late. Reduce you acidity in your body and you will be free from several problems. The higher the acidity, the better is the environment for disease to dwell, Maybe for some but not for me.I was warned by my Consultant when I started it could have severe side effects and it eventually did. At times I was so bad I couldn’t leave the house.I eventually refused to take it any longer which obviously didn’t go down very well with my current surgery.Metformin is cheap and that’s its main attraction to budget conscious doctors, Works for me too. I take 1000mg in the morning and 1000mg in the evening. But I know that some people have really problems with Metformin, Metformin is working very well for me. A1c is 6.1 I am also very strict with my diet, and I exercise for an hour a day 7 days a week. Feeling good, Doubled over with excruciating pain. Tried 1/2 pill, 1/4 pill, timed released. No go! Now listed on my chart as allergic to Metformin, Makes me very sick so they took me off it and gave me buydureon injection. How can it still be best when it makes some so ill,
Metaformin was not the best choice for me! Switched to Lantas where is can adjust according to need.
I have one family member that keeps telling me how horrible i look & that i’ve lost too much weight, i keep telling her, but i feel so much better than before, makes me sad, i thought she would be the one to be supportive,  that is very hard to do when it is your close family members that bring you down ! and when you don’t actually have any friends, Make sure you are all aware of a little known but totally life changing Charcuts foot a very serious diabetic related complication , use only a sharp and new needle. Do Not Reuse Them no matter what. That can lead to infection in the injection site(s). 2) use the insulin pen straight into the site and not on an angle. I did that this morning and ended up bleeding. 3) Rotate, rotate, rotate your sites. 4) Do Not Inject into scars or open wounds. 4) If you bruise easily, then you are injecting too hard into the skin or you are using a larger needle and it is causing discomfort. I found changing my brand has really helped a great deal. 5) If you are concerned about cleanliness, take a cotton ball or pad and use an alcohol swab or a disposal one. Make sure it is dry before injecting. This are my tips I follow faithfully pretty much every day. 6) if you cannot remember where you injected previously, take a post-a-note and put some place where it reminds you of when it happened last. I used to put mine on my bathroom mirror or on the wall beside the sink
Perhaps it is unthinkable…but Gastric bypass and other bariatric surgery seems to be no more than surgically enforced calorie restriction and fasting…why not do a direct comparison against medically supervised multi-days (72 hours) fasting or intermittent fasting protocols, Is it possible to have higher fasting bs readings after being on Metformin for a couple of months? Doc said I was pre-diabetes so put me on 1500 a day, Wow! Wow! This is teaching me how to be more understanding to my relatives that have type 2, could not have said it better … i hate telling people, co workers, friends and/or associates my health issues .. and i esp hate using my health issue as an excuse …. so i am often misjudge and i just let it go,  I make my own cranberry sauce from scratch. Berries heated until melted, then add couple tsp sugar substitute. Hardly tell difference from commercial variety except no sugar in sauce. Main meal I eat turkey, vegetables & salad. Bypass potato & dressing & add gravy. This year making diet jello shots for dessert.
The worst advice I always get – I’m dairy/lactose intollerant – but I’m always told to eat a bit of protein for snacks – ‘try having a cheese sandwich’ they say. ARGH – That is SOOOOO annoying. I CAN NOT HAVE CHEESE OR YOGURT OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS MADE UP OF ANIMAL MILK PRODUCTS. OK – not every diabetic’s problem – but why am I made to feel like I’m being difficult when I state what is, for me, the obvious. Same goes for pig meat products – I am intolerant to those, too. And why is it when I say that I can’t have pork the uneducated seem to think that ham is a great alternative to pork? Sorry – rant over, Recent conversation in my office a couple worker made my own progress and management seem meaningless!! I struggle to loose weight and I know this compounds my diabetes but I’m loosing weight and try hard to keep my diabetes under control!! I felt worthless
