how to diagnose diabetes

it doesnt matter what this comes out as, most people I know have said YES !!!!!!, a family member said it was caused by all the “Coca Cola” I drank, It’s the fault of the doctors and Diabetes Associations and their misguided dietary advice. Those of us with the Insulin-resistant gene are born that way and through various choices in our diet and perhaps a love of bread, cheese, sugary sweet things, we begin to put on weight. Then, at some point we go to the doctor and the doc says ”your sugar is too high” and either ” You’re pre-diabetic” or ”You’re diabetic”. There is a very good chance that your weight is too much as well. Then they say you need medication. You start taking it thinking it’s going to help but you notice your weight going UP, UP, UP! Your sugar gets higher and your doc puts you on more meds, your sugar gets higher still and you gain more weight. Guess what, it’s the meds and the bad advice from your doctor on diet. Sure, bread is ok in moderation they tell you. Sure, you can have potatoes and fruit. NOT!! Every one of those things will spike your sugar levels and keep you hooked into medication just like Big Pharma wants you – in the sugar/meds/more sugar/stronger meds cycle. Get OFF the bread, and the sugar and watch your weight drop and then your numbers come down and you should be able to come off the meds
12 months ago I was 11.9 now 3.7 and 43 kgs lighter. I thought long and hard and decided that my health IS important. I stick to 20g of carbs and no sugar for 6 days a week. On day seven mytreat is a low sugar iced coffee and a blueberry muffin for breakfast, as I read the Sunday paper. During the week if I want desert I have some no sugar jelly. I love this lifestyle, I feel so much better, and I refuse to go backwards,  Thanks for posting this check list. Your site has been so helpful to me, Am going to follow this post to see how others relax and switch off cuz I dont seem to be able to, am Type 1 Insulin dependant, hardly sleep, mind full of worry which I can never find an answer to xXx.
Type 2 nobody can give me a solution for my feet thats the only stress i got. Is there somebody who can help me, When I eat Pasta,my fav, food.I do take no more than 60grams off it.I live by the ‘Weightwatchers programm’.Take salads, fegi’s and fruit witk your meals to make your meal complete. It works for me very wel, Pasta are carbs and carbs are the root cause of higher blood sugars…Noodles are probably one of the worst things to eat on this planet., In Canada we have a pasta called Nu Pasta. It tastes like rice pasta but it has only 25 Cal. per serving and doesn’t raise blood sugar.
use gluten free flour and make your own? Google types of flour. good luck and good health, I read somewhere that cooked and then reheated pasta has a much smaller carbohydrate load which should make it better for sugar spike,  I have almost all of those and had MIA in 2010 and have kidney failure and on dialysis 3 times a week. It sucks big time. Waiting for kidney transplant., bad eyesight, blurred vision, boils, depression, frequent urination, fatigue, hunger, thirst, itchy skin, kidney problems, neuropathy, cronic pain and now bowel problems.
